It includes all the benefits of standard membership plus 24/7 access to all NRG GYM sites across the UK rather than just one, 14-day priority class booking rather than 7 days, 2 free guest passes per month rather than 1, and full access to HealthHero for you and your dependents.
HealthHero are Europe’s leading provider of digital healthcare and PLUS HEALTH members have free access to their service, including fast, unlimited online GPs, physiotherapists, and mental health support.
You can upgrade to NRG PLUS HEALTH in one of 3 ways:
- Via your online member portal. After you login, head to the Contract Details tab and click ‘Upgrade Contract’ to begin.
- Open the NRG GYMS app, head to the Contract Details tab and tap ‘Upgrade Contract’ to begin.
- Speak to a member of TeamNRG in the gym.
Once you’ve upgraded to PLUS HEALTH, you’ll receive an email with an access code and a link to activate your HealthHero account. From there, you can book appointments for all services as soon as HealthHero have setup your account.
Yes. Your NRG PLUS HEALTH membership allows your dependents (partner and children living at the same address) to use all the HealthHero services at no extra cost.
Your dependents will be able to access HealthHero services through your PLUS HEALTH membership, but they will not be members of NRG GYM themselves so will not be able to access any of our gyms.
You can still upgrade to NRG PLUS HEALTH and benefit from the huge value offered. You will pay your local gym’s standard monthly membership fee for your first month’s upgrade before moving to the PLUS HEALTH rate of £29.95 per month from your second month.
As often as you need. There’s no limit to how many appointments you can book through HealthHero.
Yes, you can discuss a wide range of medical issues, symptoms, or concerns, just like a regular GP appointment. They can also issue prescriptions for collection at your local pharmacy.
From coughs, colds, aches and pains to mental health support and dietary advice – this service is ideal for day-to-day health queries and concerns.
Should it be necessary, your HealthHero GP will be able to send you a sick note for your employer or provide an open private referral letter.
HealthHero is not a replacement for your own GP. There may be instances when your symptoms necessitate a referral to your own GP, such as when a physical examination is needed.
No – this is a private service with fully qualified British clinicians.
Health Hero are Europe’s leading virtual healthcare provider. They are CQC-registered and all their doctors are on the GMC register.
If in-person care is needed, the GP will explain next steps and refer you accordingly.
Yes – all HealthHero GPs are UK-based, GMC-registered, and experienced in both NHS and private care. All other clinicians are equally qualified in their specialist areas.
Yes – all appointments are confidential and delivered via secure, encrypted platforms.
Yes – if the doctor deems it clinically appropriate they will provide you with a prescription, which you can collect from your local pharmacy.
Access to HealthHero is tied to your NRG PLUS HEALTH membership. If you cancel your plan or change to a membership tier that doesn’t offer access to HealthHero, your access will stop.
