NRG PREMIUM is a membership tier. It includes all the benefits of standard membership, 24/7 access to all NRG GYM sites across the UK and full access to NRG Health for your whole family.Â
NRG Health is a part of NRG PREMIUM membership that provides fast, unlimited online access to GPs, physiotherapists, and mental health support. It is powered by HealthHero, Europe’s leading virtual healthcare provider and is included as a part of NRG PREMIUM membership.
You can upgrade to NRG PREMIUM in one of 3 ways:
- Via your online member portal. After you login, head to the Contract Details tab and click ‘Upgrade Contract’ to begin.
- Â Open the NRG GYMS app, head to the Contract Details tab and tap ‘Upgrade Contract’ to begin.
- Speak to a member of TeamNRG in the gym.
Once you’ve upgraded to PREMIUM, you’ll receive an email with an access code and a link to activate your NRG Health account. From there, you can book appointments for all services as soon as HealthHero have setup your account, which can take up to 10 days.
Yes. Your NRG PREMIUM membership allows your immediate family (partner and children living at the same address) to use all the NRG Health services at no extra cost.
Your family members will be able to access NRG Health services through your PREMIUM membership, but they will not be members of NRG GYM themselves so will not be able to access any of our gyms.
You can still upgrade to PREMIUM and benefit from the huge value of NRG Health. You will pay your local gym’s standard monthly membership fee for your first month’s upgrade before moving to the Premium rate from your second month.
As often as you need. There’s no limit to how many appointments you can book through NRG Health.
Yes, you can discuss a wide range of medical issues, symptoms, or concerns, just like a regular GP appointment. They can also issue prescriptions for collection at your local pharmacy.
From coughs, colds, aches and pains to mental health support and dietary advice – this service is ideal for day-to-day health queries and concerns.
Should it be necessary, your NRG Health GP will be able to send you a sick note for your employer or provide an open private referral letter.
NRG Health is not a replacement for your own GP. There may be instances when your symptoms necessitate a referral to your own GP, such as when a physical examination is needed.
No – this is a private service with fully qualified British clinicians.
It is provided by Health Hero, Europe’s leading virtual healthcare provider. They are CQC-registered and all their doctors are on the GMC register.
If in-person care is needed, the GP will explain next steps and refer you accordingly.
Yes – all the GPs are UK-based, GMC-registered, and experienced in both NHS and private care. All other clinicians are equally qualified in their specialist areas.
Yes – all appointments are confidential and delivered via secure, encrypted platforms.
Yes – if the doctor deems it clinically appropriate they will provide you with a prescription, which you can collect from your local pharmacy.
Access to NRG Health is tied to your NRG PREMIUM membership. If you cancel your plan or change to a membership tier that doesn’t offer access to NRG Health, your access will stop.
